Job Description

Job Overview: We’re seeking a motivated and talented entry-level Web Developer to help build and maintain responsive websites and web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or career changers to grow their skills in a supportive environment while working on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with designers to transform mockups and wireframes into functional web pages
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Test websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility
  • Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues on existing websites
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends
  • Work with version control systems like Git for code management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Basic knowledge of at least one CSS framework (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.)
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
  • Basic knowledge of version control using Git and GitHub
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
  • Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
  • Understanding of basic SEO principles
  • Experience with web design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Portfolio showcasing personal or academic web development projects
  • Completed relevant bootcamps, certifications, or online courses
